My question to you guys is will i be happy with a glass pack and with this help my tq/hp/mpg or would a free flow muffler be better and is 2 1/4 pipe good for the tq gains. any advice will help and remember COUNTRY BOYS CAN SURVIVE!

i have a single in and dula out glasspack on my club cab run out the back with 2.5 pipes and it sounds pretty good it has a good tone at low rpm's ( even sets off a few car alarms lol)noticeable power difference but my problem with it is that on takeoff when building up rpm's on each gear of my five speed it gets too loud but after speed is leveled out it's ok just too much like the sound of a rice burner for me..... going with a good high flow muffler in a couple weeks .. by the way i had my local muffler shop buy the glass pack and all pipe AND install mine for only $150 and they done a great job on it too soo you might want to check around for a better price (maybe a maw and pa shop) rednek

not sure of the difference just with headers but i think alot of it depends on the length of the pipe and the size you use for a better sound mine is 2.5 pipes all the way out on my club cab and it sounds decent.. nice low rumble on idle and takeoff

I had glasspacks on my Dak for about 2 days, it sounded awful and i lost all my low end torque. I love glasspacks on v8's but on my 6 it buzzed like a little honda.

Got a cat back no mufflers with the tips coming off the 45s behind at the corners of the bumper. Don't care about the torque. Pulls awesome above 2500. Paid $163 so keep shopping. I went to a ma and pop type place.

K&N, '01 wheels, Window Tint, Harley-Davidson badging, red underbody kit, ext.
Window covers, Harley-Davidson mudflaps, custom cat-back exhaust,
head/taillight covers, ventshades side and rear, ram air on the way. Autolite 3923s, 180 T-Stat

dynomax super turbo is the way to go my friend. i just posted on here for help with my exhaust. i shyed away from flowmaste and glasspacks and got the dynomax the guys on this board really know there stuff. as for the results i definitly LOVE the new dynomax sounds throaty at start up and i really noticed the difference in hp gain aspecailly when passind other vehicles and when u stomp on it, it sound great. choose wisely u dont want your truck sounding like an import or wind up toy.....good luck
