does anybody make a kit for the 94 dakota 3.9l 2wd for dual exhaust or am I gonna have to fabricate somethin cuz I'm lazy and it would take a few cases of beer for me to fabricate something up. any advice is welcome and appreciated. country boys can survive.

hm... i would also like to know this... i was at a JY a few months ago and i noticed a dakota EXACTLY like mine, only it had a V8, are the headers different on a V8 and the V6? they probly aren't but it would be VERY cool if they were cus this exhaust was PIMPin, couldn't have been on the truck for more than 2 days before they got in their accident...

Well, there is a -little- difference between the headers on a V8 and a V6.... namely the addition of two more cylinders (one per side) on the V8. Other than that, I suspect that the 5.2L V8 headers are nearly the same as the V6 (except for the two extra cylidners bit).
You can -do- true duals but it's not recommended do to the emissions system. Your going to get funky MIL and emissions problems unless you spend a lot of money or split it behind the oxygen sensors. Mine splits coming out of the muffler, and sounds pretty darned good (kinda drones in the cab though, darned Flowmaster, shoulda gone Magnaflow!).

ya, i kinda knew about the extra 2 cylinder part ;) lol... but i was thinking the outlet on the headers might be the same, or in the very least VERY similar... i doubt the exhaust is still at the junkyard tho, so its kinda obselete, and it was a true dual, it was the coolest looking exhaust i have EVER seen, i would own it right now if the JY ppl hadn't been cocks about selling it to me, something about emmsions, even tho i told them that i did NOT want to buy the CAT or the mufflers, ONLY the piping for the dual exhaust, but NOOOOO those JY ppl are smart cookies and they KNOW that they cannot sell me the pipes :rolleyes:...
