What is the difference between the 8mm and 9mm besides the thickness? Are the 8mm for stock ignitions and 9mm for the MSD or Accel?

the ONLY differance is the thickness of the insulation. not the wire itself. i have the MSD 6BTM with the blaster ss coil, and i run the taylor 8mm wires.
