The flex-a-lite Black Magic 150 isn't big enough to use for towing, my 3.9 starting running hot towing my boat this summer. I took it off and went back to the stock fan.

Hate to stick my nose in, but I was checking and found that the fan you have only is rated at 1300 CFM and actually puts out 1100 in a radiator application. I'm having the same problem with my 5.9 overheating and am planning on getting the 14" or 12 inch. Difference being is that I see there is about 2" or more between the radiator and the condensor and running the fan as a booster/Pusher is what I'm aiming for to assist the Clutch Fan.

I tried the flex-a-lite black magic 150 in my '93 5.2 liter

Its too fat to fit between the radiator and the engine so I had to return it to Jeg's.

Just a tidbit of info for others who are considering this fan.
