That guy who had his 8 3/4 rear on a site detailing the install (cant remember his name) said he had just enough clearence at the slip yolk when he did his, well..... mine wasnt close!!
I had to get a driveshaft shop to shorten my driveshaft an inch and I really should of went inch and a half.
His may have been different because his was a V8 Dak to start, not sure.

I can sit with my foot on the brake and tach it to 1800rpm and the rear wheels turn over slow enough to read the lettered writing!! I love that, great at stop lights next to Mustwangs and Cramarro's, lol.

Took another 360 to the machine shop Friday, I am stroking soon as I get the block back and find the time.

Hows yours comming along? whats the latest HP mod, I know bout your shifter, anything else?
You got a nitrous setup yet or do you still have the S/C?

Take care, Scott

Hey Scott, rear looks real good. I think your talking about Mark Kuzia's page detailing the 8.75 axel swap. The nv3500 tranny behind his 360 usues a differnt length driveshaft than the ax-15 in your truck. Thats why they didnt line up the same

He had a stick? I dont remember that, guess if his page was still up we could see.

Was he the one who put Lightening rims on and his Dak was Black?

Thanks all, Scott

i havent done anything to my truck lately other than the shifter and seats. I just got the old shifter out and you know that little "P R N D 2 1" on the dash..... a little flowmaster sticker covers that up really nice! hehe

i think i am gonna go the nitrous route... again. Supercharger was too weak.
