Subject: what a difference 15 dollars makes

I just spent about $15 on my truck and it sure was worth it. $1.50 for 36" of 1/4" by 20 threaded rod, $1.25 for a 1/4"NPT plug, and $11 for Autolite 3923 plugs. Total work completed

--new plugs
--relocate AIT sensor to air hat
--adjust TPS to .775 (free)
--new rod to hold down air hat, removed
large bracket from factory
--removed plastic tube from in front of
factory airbox(no intake yet)

This is all I did and it made a very noticeable difference at the pedal.

Isn't .775 a little to much for your TPS?

how do you guys relocate sensor to intake? drill a huge hole and screw it in? or is it better to relocate to the front near the rad?

I put mine in the intake. I wanted it to be in relation to what the actual engine was getting. Some have put it in the fender behind the headlight and a few other places. I would try and stay away from the rad. It gets just as hot as the engine sometimes.

I actually drilled a hole in the airhat and mounted it there. No wire extending needed. Just open the split loom it is in and pull some slack, and put on some new loom. As for the TPS voltage being too high, no codes and it is VERY responsive, so I guess it's not too high.
