well went off to the track tonight.....

after installin msd 6a,blaster3,8.5mm, v8tb
and new k&N filter. I hate to report, i saw
no gain in the 1/4.

after 5 runs and times only getting worse,
i called it a night. Still couldn't grab anything
lower than a 16.8 I however handed a Nissan Frontier v6 an asssssss whooppppin. poor fellah
couldn't get it under 18s. And he kept wantin to
try again. Also gave it to a (fake) honda v-tech
(evil side: must of been a 4banger)

I think its just because i hit 68k along with
having to run a 87 octane.

Got my asss handed to me by a 5.0 mustang(go figure)

I saw a couple other daks there but they showed up when i was leaving around 8pm i was there for 2 hours and got 5 runs. Not bad, 3 wins 2 losses

now you know thats..................

dont let it bother you sic... if you had the same weather conditions as the last run you had made, i am sure your times would be a little better.

well i think the fuel had somthing to do with it also.

When i got to the track i had a half tank
of 87 octane and a can of octane booster.
The directions said to pour into a empty tank
and then fill it up.

Well i didn't want to have to race on
a full tank so i just dumped in the bottle.

Well i finaly hit the last gallon in my
tank today after work, and man my truck
felt way! faster.

Keep in mind my older times consisted
of 30k less in miles and 93 octane
with a can of booster.

I also didn't have to wait in line
at all this night as opposed to before
having to wait 45 minutes to an hour to race.

So maybe back then my engine had more time
to cool down. Plus it was cooler then too.

now you know thats..................
