Well i gone and done it... i installed a B&M ratchet style shifter. Its pretty cool, looks a lot better sitting between my corbeau seats than that stick on the column. Only difficulty i incountered was making a new bracket it for the cable on the tranny. will try to get pics up soon.

Definately would like to see those pics too. I was contemplating doing this too, only problem is designing my center console around it. Thanks for the help yesterday bro, off to Home Depot after work to get that threaded rod! :-)

i just installed the B&M... havent gotten around to taking apart the old shifter. I have to do some fine tuning on it because i cant get down to first gear. I dont plan on having anything else for a center console other than that.... maybe another nitrous bottle ;-)

Cool, man cant wait to see it, I was going to do that when my kota was crashed but I never got around to it, hay man I fixed my kota lastnight, it was easier than I thought,and went ahead and got and electric fan while I was at it along with some new hoses and clamps and batt terminals.

Remeber that lil gay hose you told me about, under the ac compressor, wel that was it, I changed it lastnigh, and my lil bro is going to paint the bracket and the pullies sometime today while im at here at work, I appriciate the help man, thanks.

damn those gay little hoses!!!!!!
that sounds like the right brand. I bought the 14" fan but you should be the 16" because i dont have a condensor in front of the radiator and i have an oil cooler.

I second the cleaning of the carpet. Looks like you pulled it out of a lake. Sheesh. lol
You may just have to put new carpet in there. I don't think that even the "industrial strength" steam cleaners will work on that thing.

hey i might be able to make it there thursday... .but no racing. It isnt that dirty... hehehe... i found mud three inches high behind the little kicker panels under the dash... i really got it stuck that time. mud was over the tires.

Dave/Greg, Sorry I had to bail lastnight on the track, But after I got home It felt good out and I instaled my Holley TB and cable, (pice of cake) and I also flushed the system and Now I am running 40 below pro blend in my cooling system.
