Hi Trent
The 92 up will fit, but last I saw they were big bucks. Edelbrock makes headers for the 87 to 91's. If you want to save a few bucks get the stock manifolds off a 92 up V6. Also if you do go 92 up you'll need a Y pipe and the rest of the exhaust cause of the size difference, a van Y won't fit because it goes down the opposite side of the truck. Check your Y pipe for restriction. I bought a new one and it had a big chuck of pipe where the pipes were welded together. Basically all the magnum exhaust will fit but you have to use the whole thing.
Hope this helps
Jim

Hi Trent, I have a 1990 V6 much like yours. I bought the Edelbrock headers from Summit and they worked out fine. I think they run about $240.00. They fit up great on both the engine and y pipe. The only difference is there is a Oxy sensor hole near the top of the drivers side header. I just had a friend take it to his weld shop and grind it off and weld a flat metal piece on it. Or you could just get an old sensor and plug it in. But I do recomend these headers.
What other mods do you have? The headers alone will not give you tons of power. But in conjunction with a K&N intake and free exhaust, it will make a difference. And the sound is alot better too! Also, if your into lifting and mudden. There will be a problem with the steering shaft hitten the header with a 3in body lift. I had to resolve that myself. One more thing. Have the stock studs removed from the manifold block. Then just use strong bolts all around the header instead of half bolts and half studs. The passenger side is also tight in space. If you have access to a shops power tools, do that. I had a time getten my sockets in some of those places. Hope this helps.
Need anything else, just ask.
