I know this has been discussed before, but I never saw any real resolution to which electric fan is best for the 3.9L. And yes, I did a search. I know some people have the Hayden, some have the Black Magic 150, and I saw some references to PermaCool.
The meatal bladed Permacool high performance 14" fan looks really cool, and its rated to flow more than the others I have seen. The price is right in the middle of the other two. What are the opinions out there on brands?
I know I need at least 2000 cfm, and a fan in a 14 or 15 inch size. I also know that the Black magic comes with a thermostat switch, etc. Do the other fans come with controls and hardware? I haven't found a good enough description on the internet to really tell for sure.

The permacool is rated differnetly with respect to cfm's. The lack Magic will outflow it. You'll pay a little more for the Black Magic but you'll get more cfm's, a shroud and easy to wire up controls built in.
