Hello all. Looking for some info on strength of the 3.9er. Is there a year of a block that is stronger that the others? Meaning more webbing in the bottom end or maybe thicker cylinder walls. Also is there a year head that flow better than another year. I know the 92 up flow a lot better than the 91 down. The 92 and 93's, if I remember right, made more horsies than the 94's and later. Is this just from the exhaust and cam or was there a flow difference in the heads.
I have a B&M supercharger on my 88, but it has 115k so might be time for a rebuild. The blower took almost 3 seconds off my ET, and that was about 40k mikes after the last time it was at the track. Thanks, Jim
