Replaced the TB with V-8 one...from a '98 5.9L.
Just measured the voltage from middle wire to battery ground, and it was .007V and will increase to .040ish on WOT. Using a digital volt meter, and the decimal is automatic, so I do not have it on the wrong setting...Speedtweaks says it should be .7V-.75V...I am I doing this wrong or what is up...
Thanks for any help...

I know you were expecting to hear this so hear it is. Check your meter again. Although your meter is "auto matic" maybe the meter was in AC mode instead of DC mode or maybe you were looking at kV instead of V?

I'm an electronic tech and I've had my share of "operator error" even though I would have bet my jewels that I was right.

Nope...just checked again...It's a Fluke 23, with that model cannot read kV..I stuck the lead in the wire and also used a small paper clip jammed in there .007V... with nothing pure air reading is .001ish...maybe not hitting it, but I got .007VDC two different ways, 5 different times...

Try your Flukie on the Battery and see if you get 12 volt or .012

If your TPS was off that much it would throw a MIL and code

Fluke was right...I am the idiot, who stood outside truck and turned key to first on through the window...not on-on...never even looked to see that all the dash lights didn't come on...ahh yeah.
So, once I did that, it is at .78V, and I do not think I am going to mess with it.
