i have read many posts about an ignition upgrade to msd. i know absolutly nothing about the ignition and all that stuff so if i could have someone explain to me like i am a 2 year old how much all that stuff would cost and exactly what i need to install it!

MSD 6A(amp) is about $150. The Blaster SS Coil is about $40. Custom spark plug wires are about $55. Spark plugs are about a dollar each. Distributor cap and rotor kits are about $15.
Try speedtweaks.net and Kragen auto parts or your local auto parts store. You need a drill and some hand tools. You should also get the universal harness part# 8873 to minimize wire cutting.
