has anyone seen the TruckTrend for this month. all
i can say is that i hope it goes into production
because its about time we got somethin to combat
the lightnings. as much as i love my dak. i'd have
to switch (if i could afford it) they said it'll
probly run upwards of $50K. but it'd be worth it
for a truck that beautiful. i figure i'd jsut get
everyone elses opinions

Ya and TruckTrends are not cool because they put a stock r/t up against a lightning and a supercharged s-runner and made it look like a dog so I am not reading that bullsh!t anymore.

well yeah but you have to admit that the R/T is rather weak for what it is...in fact it doesnt even exactly what it is. It has a truck engine geared towing which pumps out a ridiculously weak amount hp from its 5.9 liter V8 paired with dodge's crappy 4 speed auto and to boot is not even the fastest dakota (4.7 5 speed)let alone fastest pickup truck. I mean if you are going to make a race truck, do it right. and why put the V10 in the ram?? its way too big to handle as well as a dakota. put a 5.7 hemi(supercharged if need be) in an AWD R/T and it will be the coolest, fastest and best looking truck ever. as it stands now the lighning still looks better then the ram(not the R/T though). still I do hate ford so at least we'll have the fastest truck.

btw
did you guys see ford said(in motor trend, I think) that "the GT40 will reduce the vipers status to somewhere between garden snake and earthworm"
first of all it said garden snake which(correct me if I'm wrong)is actually called a garder snake, but what ever. anyway, how much faster can it possibly be then the new viper? the new viper does 0-60 3.9 seconds or so. how much faster can the gt40 be?? 3.8 3.7??? doubt that anyway(it does have 550 hp but still)....i dunno ford blows

Isnt a supercharged 5.7l 350-400hp what came in the shelby durango, could get in a 4x2, or 4x4 option. Lowered, ram air hood, leather seats, ground effects, lowered, guage pod, 17" chrome engraved rims?? Please correct me if I seen that tv show wrong a few years ago.
