i would say the stock dak would get win.....but i have never raced a blazer xtreme....the s-10 xtreme with the 4.3L......that would get a stock dak...but not by much.......u going to race one?

I had a 97 S-10 with the Vortech V-6. It will blow the doors off of a stock Dakota V-6. My truck now is a 99 Dakota SLT V-6. I like the Dakota over the S-10 because it has more room on the insde. And remember that the Dakota is a larger truck then the S-10, so therefore it's going to weigh more. Also the Dakota V-6 is rated at 175 horses while the Vortech V-6 is rated at 190 horses.

dont worry it wont happen.... my brothers fiance has a blazer and they are a heavier piece then what we have... the "xtreme" package doesnt include any more horsies so it couldnt have more than 190 hp plus the weight of a suv

i dont think that a blazer would be able to get a stock dakota......and the s10....s10's are light suvs are not very light.....i think a stock dak would be a good race..and her being a girl she proably doesnt know how to race it seeing how she hasnt had hjer lisence very long...take a shot if u get beat say u missed a gear(if its a manual) or just say something broke lol

dakota 3.9 vs blazer 4.3 not a chance in hell i got 95 blazer 4.3 w code and it will smoke any dakota if any dumb ass tell you diffrent thats just it he is a dumb ass friend of mine had dakota we raced one time after he got whooped he wouldnt race again its a stupid question its a dodge site so of cource they will say they can beat a 4.3 well the true is its just not going to happen

You are crazy. A stock 4.3 s-10 or blazer or even a modified one (except for like a supercharger) would never beat any v8 dakota. How stupid are you!!! I had a 94 blazer 2 door 4x4 vortec and it was fast and could beat a 3.9 but not by much at all. Never, I said NEVER could it beat a v8 dakota. Wait a few years to you are old enough to drive and get the chance to drive them both and then come and post the truth.
