im buying a 1985 daytona turbo Z
im getting ris of the engine and trans
converting to RWD
and dropping a V8 in
my questions is would the turbo be worth keeping?
could i use it on my dak?
it is probably to small to do a lot of good but would it help?
last if i did get in it and found a bigger turbo later could i swap them?

you know you could probably get better performance with that turbo 4 banger in there and cost a lot less money. I know i am about to start a huge argument but that 4 cylinder weighs less than half of any small block and the tranny does to. You can get a got 300-400 hp out of those 2.2-2.5 turbos. I was pushing 270 hp out of my shelby and it wasnt even intercooled. either way good luck with the project!
