Since I have taken a new job, which includes a company vehicle, my 99 Dakota SLT 3.9V6/Auto/AC 4x2 is for sale. 45,000 miles, 3924 plugs, NAPA brass cap & rotor, 8mm plug wires, K&N cold air intake (home made), Flowmaster Deltaflo 50 muffler, relocated IAT, Silver/Driftwood color, overhead console (no trip computer),Class III hitch, new battery. Good runner/nice sound, almost 20mpg on the highway w/o a tonneau cover, will need ball joints replaced eventually. I live in east central Wisconsin, city of Brillion. Close to Green Bay and Appleton. If interested e-mail me at andyvh1959@aol.com.

You should be using Autolite 3923 plugs.

Yes Jeff the Autolite 3923 is the plug of choice. But the Autolite 3924 (one heat range hotter) also works as well for my type of driving (mostly constant speed/highway). Since it is only one heat range hotter it only allows about 70°C higher combustion chamber temperature, plus I've gotten better performance, better mileage and no more pinging in any driving condition.

I forgot to add that I have a V8TB to go with my 99 Dak. It's a 52mm TB from the 5.2V8 engine. I haven't installed it yet (getting machined) but I expect it would work great with the intake and exhaust work already done on this Dak.
