Hey everyone

I don't know if this a problem or not but I'll ask anyway.

Last nightI was working on my truck. I got into the cab and hit the gas pedal by mistake and something weird happened.

When I hit the gas it Reved up and the it sounded like it was going to Stall out. { down to 100RPM's} and then would come back.

I did it numerous time and the same thing happened everytime.

I'm running a 3.9 V6 with no mods at all.. all stock. 2002 model

Any one else have this problem?

In neutral/park? Yeah, mine does that too. It takes a moment for the computer to react to major throttle position changes like that.

It's just the lag time between sensors. When you give it a hit of gas, for a moment the engine goes real rich until the computer can compensate. But by then you've taken your foot off the gas, and now it's real lean, hence the sputter. :0)

Thats my take on it at least.
