Hello all new to these forums and also new to the Dakota. Drove Dodge for years, just retired my 85 Dodge Ram royal for a 94 Dodge Dakota 3.9 L. Nice truck very clean but with 140K miles still good runner though. Have seen quite abit of post about the timing chain noise and have the exact same problem. Was looking at speedtweaks from one of the posts here about the timing change mod with the idler and was wondering if the part numbers listed was there part numbers or numbers that could be purchased from any auto parts store. As it seems that there store is down and this needs to happen pretty rapidly.
