Ok Here is the Deal I have a 2000 Dakota (sure youve all seen it Im always asking people to look at it) and I know have 53,000mi on it What things do I need to start watching out for? It seems to run Great right now and The paint is Brand new so im not worring about fading. Just wanted to know whay you guys had go wrong around this time. I dirve my truck a LOT and it needs to last me a lil while.

You might want to watch out for the cat and the bushings getting dry-rot, also the ball joints. I just hit 59k 2 days ago.

my cat went out at almost 84k and my engine coil went out at 72k only problem i have had besides the tranny slipping 2nd gear which started around 57k but is now fixed when i changed the trannsmission oil and filter. other than that my truck has ran great and the coil was $52 and the cat was $164 installed. i think thats not too bad my truck has 84500 miles on it now.

actually thats not funny.

what would you do with two autolite sparkplugs... 6 might be a little better...
i just hit 51,000 on my 98.... replaced some stuff.. you shoulda seen the distributer cap with 25,000 miles worth of msd on it

Nah, Intense, just two! You can take them and duct-tape them inside the intake. Reduces pinging and causes a jet-engine effect which improved velocity into the cylinders and increases compression by 100:1! Woo hoo! AFTERBURNERS! YEAH!
