WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MY 1990 3.9 AND A 91 3.9 LIKE WOULD THE VALVE COVERS BE DIFFERENT?

The Pre-Magnum and Magnum valve covers are different on the bolt pattern.

The '91's are the same, they were not SMPI Magnum engines until '92

Yep.

There may only be minor differences, regarding sensors / plugs etc.. but all will fit from one to the other. (even the sensors if they have different terminals)
