Best place to start is with a air intake and a new TB. Avoid a muffler, you end up loosing back pressure that will rob a little low end which we are looking for more of.

heh, the first mod i did was a muffler.... my truck loved it.... now it runs a 8.95 (1/8th). better put that factory muffler back on to go faster!

Robdawg,
just remember this... the more air you get in and out of an engine the more power you will achieve. If you dont remove the catalytic converter you will have all the back pressure you will ever need (even with aftermarket cats). with me saying that.... you wont wanta go to a dual exhaust though...keep that in mind.

i am not saying dual is bad... especially with that glasspack. Its just there really wont be any gains from a single to a dual. The v6 really wont support a dual. Its kinda a "if you want that look/have that kinda money" thing.

(glasspacks are very restrictive, or at least the ol' cherry bomb style)
