 Subject: just got jba headers for $225!

I couldn't pass up this great deal. I was surfin the net tryin to find a good deal on jba's headers. The best deal that I could find was at Dessertrat.com. The headers were like $331.00 plus shipping. Thats not bad compared to the price that jba is asking for. While on jba's site i somehow found a link to clearance items. They had a set of headers for my 3.9 for 225.00. The Driver side was used as a tester, and the passenger side is new. After careful inspection yesterday I could tell no difference between the two cosmetically. Was there an underlying reason for jba to sell these sooo cheap? Also I called my regular shop to get these suckers put on today, but the mechanic told me he would charge 200.00 to 250.00 for the installation which could take him all day. Does anybody smell a load here? Thats more than I payed for the darn things. It does not look too difficult to do myself. Is it?

I got JBA's from truck performance for $242. THey are no that hard to install at all. a few hours at most and that included the time it took me to get out the bolt i broke. I'm not a mechanic or anything you don't need any special tools. Do it yourself it feels good when you're done

yeah just bought a set at www.truckperformance.com to, luckily i was able to talk the guy down to $325, little better than $324 i guess.
