I have a '95 Dakota SLT 3.9 and i have a problem once in a while when i turn on my lights. when i pull the switch, all my gauges go down...the speedo goes to 0 the gas guage goes to full and they all just go dead. i was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and what it was.....i would apprectiate much help on this problem.....
another thing i have a ? on it when i floor it, i don't have any get up and go speed what so ever...it kinda does a stutter almost...anyone have a suggestion....

The dash to me sounds like either a loose connector, corrosion on the connector, or a bad ground. I'd remove the gauge module (simple to do, four bolts) and check the connections, then work my way back from there. It might just be loose.

As for the stuttering when you hit it... well, how many miles on the engine? When was the last time you gave it a tuneup (IE: Plugs, wires, cap/rotor)? Try running a tank of gas through it with fuel injector cleaner too, might be a dirty injector somewhere. Also check your air filter, and if it's clogged, replace it (To check with the stock filter, hold it up to a bright light and see if you can see the light. If not, or not well, you need a new filter).
