Subject: Throttle position sensor installation IP: Logged
Message: I just bought a 1992 Dodge Dakota and the motor
was idling very erratically. I saw numerous posts
in this forum that it might be the Throttle
positon sensor so I bought one and installed it.
The truck started right up but not it is idling at
about 3000 rpm.
Is there a certain way to install this? It seemed
like it was spring loaded but I was unsure about
which way it goes around the tab.
Any ideas?
