Message: 03 Dakota 3.9 v6. When cold it starts and runs fine. After a
drive and all is warm if you shut it off for say 20 minutes and
start it it runs and starts good. Within a mile or two you loose
all power and it starts backfiring through the intake. Pop it in
neutral shut it down and restart it the problem goes away.
Never happens when cold only after a warm up and after it’s
shut off for a bit. Any ideas?
