i've seen a few people who have put 4.10 gears in thier sixer, if i decide to change gears would the 4.10's be a good investment?, or should i go with the 3.92's?

i run the 92 rear with a 2851660 tire, sometimes a ten would be nice. depends on tire size, etc. and the "twist up" you are wanting. with 2356016's the r's come on real fast. just my experience with sizes from stock 2157515 to 2856016. maybe try 17's next. r u looking for some cheap rims w/o or w/ tires, various sizes?

i have 4.10's on my 95 x-cab auto. i run a 245/60/15 tire. that is one of the best mods i've done, if you have an auto. i went with the 4.10's because i had a v6 x-cab auto, it's a heavy truck so it needed the extra gear, if you have a 5.speed 3.92's would work just fine.

from what i've seen, the price difference between 3.92's and 4.10's will make you think otherwise about making the switch. i've seen the 4.10's go for almost 2x what the 3.92's go for. i'm thinking of upgrading my truck, and if i do i'm definitely going with the 3.92's. do you do any highway travel? that will make a huge difference.

i dont do much highway travel, i just want better accel. for 0-60 and quarter miles. i am going to put nitrous on soon and i want to make the best of it.

just keep cost in mind... the difference between the 4.10's and 3.92's may not be enough to warrant the cost. let me know how much it costs you.
