I have 17 x 9 R/T rims on my truck, and i was wondering what is the biggest width tire i can but on that rim. I have a 98 Dakota V6 cc if that has anything to do with it. Its 4x2. OH Yeah, is it me or is gas prices going way down. It is .96 cents here in Warner Robins, Ga:) Gata love that!!!!!!

Are you looken for a street tire or a mudd tire? On a 17x9, you could go up to a 12.50 wide I a pretty sure. As for how high, I dont know. My dak is a Gen I. The 17in tire will be another joy. You dont see too many 17in Mudd tires out there. Not saying that they arent made. Just look in books and Mags. Most listings are for 15 and 16in. Good luck in you search though. Have a nice one.

A 275/50-17 will fit in the rear but may rub at full lock on the front.
