 Subject: 1990 dodge dakota engine swap

Ok so long story short I want to put a v6 into my
brothers 1990 Dakota currently has unusable
4cylinder in it with the manual transmission. I'm
wondering if I can swap any year of v6 into it
with ease or if there is a year limit as far as
computers go. And if the transmission will bolt up
to the tranny. I also heard the motor mounts will
line up, confirm?
