Once in a while the radiator will
overheat. What is wrong? Thank you.

Well Deborah, that could be a multitude of things! For the best answer we need to know a few more things. Does it seem to lose any antifreeze? Does the heater blow hot? Does the engine seem to "ping" or "rattle" when under load? How often and how bad does it over heat? I need to try and narrow down the areas affected. It could be a slow leak, bad cooling fan clutch, waterpump, thermostat, head gasket, intake gasket, or possibly even an EGR. One last Question, does the check engine light come on?
