I just bought a 3.9L 2000 Dak. When I bought it it had already had a Belltech suspension drop on it from the previous owner, so I am one step ahead of the game, and save for the silver coming off the damn stock alloys, the truck is mint.

Questions being: I have modified cars all my life (well since I turned 16), and want to modify this one as well, and I have seen pictures of this magical K&N Fuel injection air filter air intake joint.... where can I get this, is this the same one that goes on the R/T, and if so, where can I look this up / get it.

Exhaust: I have been discussing several options, from true duals run to straight pipes, and every option in between, now after reading this website I intend to get a 50 series Flowmaster, but do we keep the stock pipe, or do we run single in dual out, pipes sticking straight out the back? anyone care to comment?>

Go to www.speedtweaks.net, they have all sorts of parts for you. Check out their packaged performance upgrades for the v6, good place to start. I have the KN kit and highly recommend it. The KN kit is the same for the R/T (5.9), 5.2, and 3.9.

I have the 40 series Deltaflow 2.5" inlet/outlet and love it. It's deeper, throatier, and louder than the 50 series. I kept the stock piping, 2.5" is perfect, and just replaced the muffler.
