Just bought a used 03 Dakota 3.9 auto 4x4 back in December 2012. It had low mileage and now has 57,000 on it. Still low for the year. Since I have it, I notice how it has no power going up hills unless you floor it. I know its no v8 but I had 4 cylinders that had more power.
Now that I have been driving it and it got warmer out, I also notice that the steering column or shaft has in and out play in it somewhere. The steering wheels is tight, the play seems to be under the dash or under the hood somewhere.
The last thing is a month ago my passenger floor was soaked with water under the carpet. I smelled mildew or mold and found the water. I cannot find where its coming from. I read about the ac but I haven't used the ac at all yet.
Did I buy a used lemon or what?
