Now, I don't mean to knock anyone here, but I'm betting all you guys that "whooped" a Mustang, most likley beat them because the other driver was an idiot, or they were running their automatics in Drive, instead of manually shifting from first to second to drive. 99-04 Mustangs pound out 190 HP at somewhere around 5000 rmp (if memory serves) and automatics shift around 3000 when at wide open throttle. I would recomend that you don't put down mustangs or their drivers, cuz when you come across one who knows how to drive, you're gonna get your asses kicked.

If you're not a cheap skate...you can get a mustang that qualifies as a "real" muscle car. My dad's Mach1 has 305hp stock. I guarantee it'll blow away most daks here except maybe some of the guys' who are heavily modified. I ain't saying that to be knockin on daks though... It's just that I've been in my dad's Mustang and it hauls some major ass. Another "real" muscle car is the Mustang SVT Cobra. Of course, that's just a V8 Mustang with a supercharger...

Anyway... don't be knockin on all Mustangs. They're my favorite car [that doesn't cost a sheeitload]:)

...although I do agree that the V6 ones suck.
