Subject: 87 dakota power returned but... IP: Logged
Message: My 87 dakota w/3.9 lost even more power after replacing the pickup coil. after much searching and reading a lot off the forums, i deciede to advanced the timing and a lot of the power returned. Pulls hills much better. Is this a sign of worn timing chain or could the new pickup somehow offset the timing?
Truck has 215,000 on it.
