 Subject: brake light goes out left side only

The left side brake light goes out when my running lights come on (2000 dodge dakota). It works fine as long as the running lights aren't on, but goes out as soon as they are turned on. I can't see any breaks or shorts in the wiring, but I'm guessing there must be one somewhere? anyone have something similar happen and find the solution? thanks

Did you change the bulb, no you did not, that could be your problem!
