 Subject: 1993 Dakota Climate control issue

I am having an issue with my climate control. The air will only blow out from the windshield area. It makes no change no matter what selections I make on the climate control buttons, the air will only blow from the windshield area, like my defrost is on.
I am looking to fix the issue myself once I find out what it is that is causing the problem and how involved the repair is. Any help would be appreciated.

You have a vacuum leak somewhere, most likely at the heater controls themselves, or the tiny hose that feeds it vacuum from the engine. If you can't find any vacuum leaks underhood, replace the heater control unit with a good junkyard one.
