Message: I'm having probs with my truck, its a automatic. The engine revs way up and the rpms shoot sky high and then it starts lugging really bad. It left me stranded on the side of the road the other day, the headlights flared really bright and then would go dim,and the truck started lugging and died. I pulled off the alternator and it tests out fine. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be?
