I've got a 91' dakota with a 3.9 automatic.
My problem is that sometimes when i slow down to stop my truck wants to idle really ruff and almost die. If i give it some gas it'll be alright but its almost as if its trying to jump away with me even when i'm holding the brake in.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

mess with the throttle speed control. on my '91 V6, it is the little gold bulb shaped diaphram with a screw in it, it is under the air filter.
