Ok so checked my brakes like 3 times, first they were
pulsating, and they were duralast brakes suck!!! So I changes
them and the rotors to Wagner brakes, and they were fine but
they would rattle sometimes...then I put disc brake quiet in
between the pads and the caliper, so then the disc brake
quiet gave me a squeaking sound when I braked and the
rattling. So now that I burnt off the disc brake quiet, I am
having my brakes rattle now.

It only rattles when I brake.
It rattles mostly and loudest when I hit bumps as I'm braking
or when I am turning as I am braking. Not sure it
Might be my breaks...could be something else but all I know
is that the rattling comes from the wheels on the left and
right, the rear brakes are wagners too and are completely
fine. Any help? Ideas? Thank you.

Is your truck supposed to have anti-rattle clips, and are they missing?

Anti rattle clips??? Wats that? I know that you take off the
rim, and the caliper has a huge piece on it and you take it off,
it is on the caliper and it's curved and hooks on to the middle.
Not sure what it's for but I'm guessing it's for the pads to be
kept in place. It's the length of the whole caliper, and it is
outside of the caliper attached to it's side.

I'm with Bod. Something is wrong or missing if your pads are rattling. And I've used A/Z Duralast pads on my '00 QC with no problems. When you installed the pads did you "bed" them in?

Thanks for the site daddio, the rotors n pads are smooth,
they look good and are fairly new. My rotors aren't warped
nor need to be turned. And I'll check if I am missing pieces...I
doubt I am cause I took it to the shop, they didn't see any
parts I would be missing and I have the Haynes manual
which doesn't show any parts I would be missing either. I'll
read that site when I get a chance.

We bought the truck used and we aren't sure if it's missing
the anti rattle clips, but I know it has clips on the side that I
described earlier. It's just one clip on each caliper. And no I
didn't bed the pads. So mayb that could be my rattling
problem but they were rattling since we had the duralast
brakes even, and duralast brakes in Vegas are trash cause
they dust rims nasty, they give out alot of dust and they mess
up the rotor too. That was the reason I bought Wagner
brakes.

Brake noise leads to brake failure.

Jeff Da Idiot,
Have a real mechanic install your brakes.

I did have a real mechanic check em, an he said that my
calipers might have been making them rattle, cause where the
pads go on, well the old ones left imprints on the calipers so
he is guessing when the pads slide in and out they rattle
because the imprints make the pads stop or rattle, so I went
ahead and put grease oh there but they still rattle.

If the slide area on the calipers is really that worn, maybe you should replace the calipers.
