 Subject: a/c blower motor

hey guys i really need help with this one. i need to replace the blower motor on my 1998 dakota. i checked around with a few shops and they all quoted me between 600-700 bucks for the job..hell no. ive been digging around and im just wondering if i have to completely take off the dash to be able to replace it or is there a much easier way? i know its located on the passengers side behind the glovebox. Can anyone help me??

drake, I would suggest you get a repair manual, cause it is a big job, I have done it on my 1988, and it was pretty easy, but I think the newer ones its more invloved.
