 Subject: plugs

Cant get the plugs to budge on 92 3.9. I think the
problem is the metal tubes that surround the plugs..
heat shields i guess. Do these come out with the
plugs or are they attached to the head? Got the
pb blaster soaking but I dont want to break a plug
off. thanks

You can take them out. I got rid of those on my '00 years ago. They came right out with a pair of pliers.

You can use a breaker bar if the plugs won't come out, worked for me.
