Message: A while back as in a couple of years I read some post here where folks were doing work on the 3.9 intake. I have not been able to find them. I also saw post on using the viper rockers because they were a 1.7 ratio. What I am trying to do is tweek the performance a little while I am doing the rebuild. I am going back all stock parts. Just going to port match heads and intake maybe clean the head ports a little. Anyway if anyone has any info on reworking the intake and using the viper rocker arms it sure would be appreciated.
Message: On the intake: If I remember right, Cut the runners back about 1", If your intake has the center divider, remove it and port match to the head and smooth out what you can in the runners. Also, radius the edges of the injector bosses inside the intake runner, assuming this is an MPFI manifold.
