Yes...I have a modified camshaft in my '97 V6. The bottom end is pretty darn good (much better than stock) and the powerband really comes on strong at 2000+rpm. I picked mine up from KRC Performance. HP/TQ figures aren't recorded yet as the engine still needs some more break-in time.

I've had a krc 200/206 504/512 112cl cam for damn near a year now.... After the original truck it was going into was wrecked I pulled its motor and did a full rebuild. The cam along with the rest of the motor will be installed shortly into a far superior gen 2..... =P
