 Subject: Fan relay is bad, having to fake out ecm

Message:
Can someone tell me possibly how to fake the ecm
into thinking the fan relay is working? There is a
short that I cannot find and I had to get a friend
to install a new relay to get fan to turn on for
radiator. Now the check engine light will not turn
off lol. The fan relay had somehow melted to the
fuse block. THis is for a 2k dakota 3.9

try a hard reset disconnect batt turn key all the
way to start than off and see if the light will
go off
