Since there was almost no response to the "exhaust system" post, decided to make one that might get a little more attention. I know nobody wants to talk about a whole exhaust system and all the variables cuz its been posted a million times on here I'm sure..what I'm really needing to know is...
Whats the best cat for my '98 2wd 3.9 slt? Ive been lookin on ebay for hiflow cats and found a MagnaFlow HI Flow Converter 2.5" Spun Ceramic C/C 54956. I have no cat right now and no backpressure. I think i've pretty much decided on the Dynomax Super Turbo Muffler 17748. I have jba headers on a stock ypipe, my flowmaster 40 delta flow muffler cracked at the outlet so thats junk. My o2 sensors know theres no cat so thats probably why my fuel mileage has dropped since I did the whole exhaust the first time. Thanks for the help guys, hope this helps others in the future as well

Just about any catcon over stock is an improvement.
The flowMaster can be welded.
