Subject: Testing blower SWITCH power?

Message:
Me again. My blower motor for my A/C - Heater is not working. Yeah, yeah, replaced the resistor already. Nada. ($12 part) I have checked all the fuses. From under the hood fuses, to the fuse panel in the Cab. All circuits are good at both locations. Fuses are good. Once you get to that point, the dash needs to come apart. RIGHT? Well the dash is apart. I have disconnected the blower SWITCH console (just above the radio) And I am testing the plug that connects to that switch. I am getting NO POWER to that switch that I can tell. (yes, ignition to on) Radio plays fine, cab has power, lights, etc....but that switch controls the BLOWER, right? And it should work (ie have power) without the truck running. (Ie ignition to on) But I am not getting power at that switch it would seem. Or am I missing something??? PLEASE help. It's getting hot out there. Lol. I have not yet tested the blower motor itself yet. I'm trying every other option first. Because that sucker is burried under that dash and I honestly don't see how to get to it. (tips on that?) Thank you guys.

ive got a 95 also and its actually not that hard to get too. if you take the seat out so that you have room to move around its much easier. ounce you take the kick panal off under the steering wheel, just take the glove box and all that out and theres about 6 bolts on the housing. to help test to see if its getting power take the blower out so you can get to the plug in the back and test the blower motor out of the vehicle
