Subject: Im curious about two things...

I have a 93 v6 extended cab 2wd with 151,000 miles. FIRST, im curious about the flex in the truck. When i turn and look out the side miror i see the bed/cab move sideways a good inch and then when i go straight, it's straight again. Im not racing (because that's supid) or towing anything. Is that normal for this truck?? I've checked the mounts and they're all solid.
SECOND, i need help improving the mpgs. I just replaced the spark plugs and im getting 13.5 mpg now. Gas is going up and it's tuff paying $45 a week. I don't have a lead foot and i don't have anything in the bed. I have a k&n air filter, new cat and muffler. I've heard of some people getting 15-18 mpgs. Is 13.5 the best that im going to get out of this without spending a lot of money on a massive overhaul/spending a lot on mods, are there any suggestion??

How about the first thing you do is finish the tune up you started. Change the wires, cap & rotor too. Then check for any stored codes. Also check your wheel alignment and tire pressure.

Is this an auto or manual truck? 13.5 is city, average or highway? My '00 QC 3.9 5spd gets around 23- 24hyw mpg and about 17-18 city.

It's an automatic and my driving is about 60% city and 40% highway. I guess i'll do the cap, rotor, and wires next weekend. And i haven't had the tires aligned in a few years so i'll get that done when i get the money.
Thanks
