It's not very specific
How many miles on it?

What V6 does it have in it?

The thing under the cap is the rotor.
If the complete tune up was done month or even 2 months ago it should be good.
Only other thing that comes to mind is injectors.
Try a fill up and some cleaner, I use a bottle of STP black & a Prestone complete fuel system cleaner together. Always worked good and never a problem in over 165,000 miles. However some guys on here like SeaFoam and swear by it also. So You have to make your pick. Just wish the code was specific as to what cycl. was misfiring. Wait for a few of the other guys to chime in on this also. But as of now it's all the help I can offer.
