I've had this vehicle for a couple months, ran OK, but threw a few codes, intermittent miss, miss on cyl 2, seemed to go away after I replace the cap and rotor as part of the tune up I did. I replace cap, rotor, wires, plugs, TPS, cam sensor. Engine started running rough, throwing codes P0302, P0300, P0305, etc. Checked for vacuum leaks, none. Checked compression, it's all over the place:

I checked each cylinder twice.

cylinder 1 = 150 PSI
cylinder 2 = 110 PSI
cylinder 3 = 145 PSI
cylinder 4 = 60 PSI
cylinder 5 = 10 PSI
cylinder 6 = 140 PSI

Two blown head gaskets? Or a blown gasket and a burned valve?

you need to wet test
now to determine if its valves, rings, head gasket

The plugs looked fine. The engine doesn't use any oil, or seem to have any blowby.

wet test

squirt 4 shots of oil in the low cyls and recheck

if it goes up its rings

if not gasket or valve

I have never seen one that bad wow

I have not checked my stroker motors but the motor
in my 1996 4x4 amazed me every cyl right on 140
not even 1 pound diff perhaps that is why it runs
so well and gets such good gas mileage

don't forget
the throttle has to be wide open when testing compression

I have a 97 Dodge Dakota, It seems to have downshifting problems, when it downshifts it's momentarily, briefly. It also leaked coolant for a day, I topped off the over flow and it hasn't leaked again, suggestions?
