 Subject: Transmission Trouble?

I have a 2002 4wd 6 cyl. Last few weeks it has lost power. Unfortunately haven't had time or money to take her to shop. Well on a 5 mile round trip to store I lost power almost completely. Symptoms. Wouldn't shift properly (had to let off gas pedal to shift.) Now most RPM's I get is about 2000 with no power. Dodge replaced transmission (under warranty) about 12,000 miles ago. Of course warranty is now out as I gave about 80,000 on her now. I have never abused it at all. Could this be catalytic converter related or is it transmission????
